Every once in a while, I get the urge to cut up my wedding dress and make flowers from it's remains. No worries, it's only the very bottom of my dress. After our wedding (almost 3 years ago) I cut some bottom layers to shorten the dress, my plans are still to have it hemmed and dyed beige so I can wear it to special occasions. I see no use of it just hanging in my closet, I want to be able to wear it again.
This headband is probably the largest one I've ever made, due to the thickness of the fabric from my dress. I wouldn't recommend this headband for babies, it would completely overwhelm their little heads. This headband would fit ages 5+ perfectly. I would love to see it on a little flower girl, it would just be darling. To see sizes and pricing on this headband, please visit my Etsy shop SkylyLove.
OOOh! I love your idea of creating a new headband everyday... although, my wallet may not! Ha
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work indeed!
Thanks so much Vanessa for your support! I LOVE your photography by the way, found it on Etsy! My family and I will be moving to a new house soon, and I think I could use some of your work to fill my walls. It won't be for another 3 months, but I'll definitely keep you in mind :)
